Getting Started

How long does it take to set up a bot?
About 20 minutes from sign-up to a working bot on your website. Most of that time is the website scanner working in the background.
Do I need technical skills?
No. Everything is point-and-click. The hardest thing you'll do is paste one line of code on your website (or two clicks if you use the WordPress plugin).
Can I try it without a credit card?
Yes. The 7-day free trial requires no credit card up front. You only enter payment if you decide to keep it.

Bots & Knowledge

How does the website scanner work?
Paste a URL and the scanner crawls the page, extracts the text content (services, pricing, hours, FAQs), and adds it to your bot's knowledge base. Most scans finish in under two minutes.
What is the Q&A Builder?
A simple form where you type a question and the answer you want the bot to give. Save it and your bot uses that answer for every matching visitor question from then on.
What happens when my bot can't answer a question?
It either asks a clarifying question, captures the visitor as a lead so you can follow up, or escalates to your team. Every unanswered question shows up in your Unanswered Questions inbox so you can train the bot once and never miss it again.
Can I have multiple bots?
Yes. Pro includes 5 bots. You can add extra bot slots for $9.99/month each on any plan.

Leads & Notifications

How do I get notified about new leads?
Email by default — instant notification with full conversation context. Add the SMS Alerts add-on to also get text messages for hot leads.
Can I send leads to my CRM?
Yes. Use the Webhooks integration to push leads to any CRM, or connect Zapier to send them to HubSpot, Salesforce, Google Sheets, or 5,000+ other tools.

Scheduling

How does appointment booking work?
Connect your Google Calendar and visitors can pick a real available slot directly inside the chat widget. You can also add Calendly or Cal.com booking links as a fallback.

Billing

Can I cancel anytime?
Yes — one click in your billing page, no calls, no forms.
What happens if I exceed my plan limits?
Your bot keeps working through any in-progress conversations, then we'll let you know via email so you can either upgrade or wait for your monthly reset.
How do add-ons work?
Add-ons (SMS Alerts, Advanced Analytics, WordPress, Extra Bots) are billed monthly on top of your base plan. Enable or disable them anytime from the Add-ons page.

Security

Is my customer data secure?
Yes. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Each customer's data is fully isolated — no business on the platform can see another business's data. We run regular security audits and remediation.
Does the bot ever make up answers?
No. The bot only answers using the knowledge YOU upload. If it doesn't know, it captures the visitor as a lead instead of inventing a response.
